We are monitoring the air quality in reception of the care home.

Over the last few months we have been monitoring the CO2 levels in the reception of the care home to ensure the area is well ventilated and the ambient temperature and humidity are maintaining acceptable levels ensuring the comfort of both staff and residents.

The area is highly used by all staff and residents and is the main hub of activity for contractors and deliveries entering the site. Ensuring CO2 levels remain in the healthy range is an assurance the ventilation is meeting standards, as well as not having a negative effect on the ambient conditions in the reception area.

We are pleased with the results and the plan is to montitor other areas within the care home going forward to ensure the same excellent levels are being maintained.

Shocked by IAQ readings

Until we installed IAQ Safes system we simply could not see how bad the IAQ was, installing indoor air quality sensors brought the data to life and enabled changes to be made to improve our building health
